The Project Manager within the Strategic PMO Talent Rotation Program will lead complex cross-functional projects that align with ADM's strategic objectives, ensuring quality and business benefits are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation aligned with strategic goals
- Establish and manage governance structures, including roles, responsibilities, and decision frameworks
- Ensure delivery against agreed quality, cost, timing, and benefit targets
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, including contingency planning
- Drive alignment and facilitate communication across diverse stakeholder groups and geographies
- Track performance through KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and key decisions
- Manage third-party vendors and external partners where applicable
- Lead or support high-impact projects across multiple domains: MADJV (Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Joint Ventures), Capital Expenditure (CapEx) investments (greenfield and expansion projects), and/or Enterprise transformation and strategic optimization initiatives
- Lead end-to-end execution of transactions, including pre-deal planning, due diligence, integration, or separation
- Manage Day 1 readiness and transition planning (communications, systems, operations)
- Oversee integration or disentanglement activities, including TSA development and execution
- Track synergy realization, cost alignment, and risk mitigation
- Support cultural integration and change management across organizations
- Manage projects across multiple business units and functional areas, gaining broad enterprise exposure
- Develop critical leadership capabilities, including communication, influencing, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
- Build a strong professional network through interaction with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Receive structured feedback through quarterly development reviews with PMO leadership and HR
- Participate in formal training, including Prince2 certification and enterprise learning programs
- Be supported by senior project managers, mentors, and PMO leadership for guidance and coaching
- Participants are expected to take ownership of their development, actively pursue learning opportunities, and align their performance with defined career goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, or related field; Master's degree is a benefit
- Minimum 3 years of experience at ADM or in a comparable role involving complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated track record of strong performance and value delivery
- PMP, Prince2, or willingness to obtain certification is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) and planning tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent
- Willingness to travel up to 15–20%
- Future desire to lead transformation, strategy execution, or obtain a business leadership roles preferred
- Exposure to MADJV or large-scale strategic projects is a benefit
