About this role
Dice is seeking a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform. The role involves designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions, leading DevOps transformation initiatives, and managing Kubernetes clusters on the Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Google Cloud Platform cloud solutions
- Lead DevOps transformation initiatives and cloud migration projects
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Ensure cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational excellence
- Mentor engineering teams and drive DevOps best practices across projects
Requirements:
- 14+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong experience with GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash/Python)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, security, and performance optimization in cloud environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, architecture, and stakeholder communication skills
- Google Cloud Platform Certification Mandatory
