Crossfire Consulting is a dynamic organization committed to maintaining strong financial controls and operational excellence. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payables Analyst to support corporate card programs, audit expense activity, and ensure adherence to company policies in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Audit expense reports for compliance with travel & entertainment, gifts & entertainment, auto allowance, and corporate spending policies
- Review corporate card and Purchase Card (P-Card) transactions to validate appropriate usage and identify policy violations
- Investigate questionable expenses, verify receipts and merchant activity, and escalate concerns when necessary
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and ad hoc financial review activities
- Monitor aged balances, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Provide guidance to employees regarding expense policies, transaction handling, and compliance requirements
- Support corporate card administration, including onboarding, user setup, and training
- Identify spending trends, recommend process improvements, and strengthen internal controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, expense auditing, corporate card programs, or related financial operations
- Strong understanding of audit processes, compliance requirements, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and large-volume data analysis
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Experience with Oracle Fusion, Oracle Expense Module, or other ERP systems
- Familiarity with Concur, AppZen, Client Works, or similar expense management platforms
- Experience supporting Travel & Entertainment (T&E) or corporate card programs
