The Institute for Study Abroad (IFSA) is a US-based nonprofit organization dedicated to creating global learning environments for students. The Content Marketing Intern will support the Marketing team by creating and publishing various forms of content to promote IFSA programs and enhance student engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and publish photo, video, graphic, and written content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media and video-sharing platforms, as needed, to promote programs, increase visibility, and engage audiences
- Organize and manage digital media assets within the organization's digital asset management system, including tagging, categorizing, and maintaining photo and video content
- Collaborate with internal teams and students to develop compelling stories and marketing content that highlight student experiences and program impact
- Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and industry conversations to identify opportunities for content development and community growth
- Track and report on digital marketing and social media performance metrics to help inform content strategy
- Design marketing materials such as program flyers, brochures, and other print and digital assets to support recruitment and outreach efforts
- Update content on WordPress and partner websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- Support email marketing efforts by designing and building mail workflows
- Attend weekly team meetings and contribute to ongoing marketing projects and initiatives
- Perform other related duties and special projects assigned
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Graphic Design, Film & Production, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student populations and campus stakeholders
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva
- Familiarity with content management and collaboration tools such as WordPress, Notion, PhotoShelter, and Microsoft 365
- Experience using social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Later, or Sprinklr
- Authorized to work in the USA; physically located in the USA for the duration of the internship
