21Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our company. The role involves leading project teams, managing project life cycles, and ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Drive path forward on projects by acting as liaison between client and 21Tech project teams providing clarity, strategy, and direction on business process and functional solutions
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Management of scope, issues, risks, budget and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery
- Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and facilitate the project team meetings
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
- Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
- Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods and techniques
Requirements:
- 8+ years of technology-related project management experience involving software implementation and/or upgrades
- Ability to lead large and complex projects (multi-year and over $5 Million in services revenue)
- Intermediate or better experience level in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall
- Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills, including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Successfully managed project teams with 5-10 resources
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, and achieve objectives
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Experience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and Microsoft Project
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
- BA/BS in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- PMP Certification not required, but preferred
- 3+ years of technology-related consulting experience in Asset Management solutions is advantageous and can strengthen a candidate's competitiveness for the role
