AmeriHealth Caritas is a company focused on enhancing member engagement through effective communication strategies. The Business Operations Analyst - Member Communications will support optimization efforts for member-facing communications, ensuring accuracy and compliance while analyzing data to improve engagement and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of member-focused communications across mail, email, text, and web channels, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and operational readiness
- Coordinate inputs, timelines, and execution for event-based communications (e.g., Open Enrollment, new market launches, vendor outreach)
- Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Operations, Compliance, and vendors to deliver timely and effective communications
- Ensure communications align with regulatory, operational, and brand standards
- Analyze member communication data and outcomes to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain data-driven reporting on communication performance and operational impact
- Ensure data accuracy and validate communication logic, outputs, and targeting criteria
- Translate complex findings into clear, concise insights to support decision-making
- Identify and support opportunities to improve member engagement, clarity, and experience
- Contribute to optimization efforts that reduce operational friction and improve communication effectiveness
- Support testing, measurement, and refinement of communication strategies
- Develop and maintain documentation, inventories, and repositories for communication materials and processes
- Create and maintain structured process documentation supporting operational consistency
- Manage and organize departmental SharePoint and communication repositories
- Support governance and quality review processes for communications
- Partner with business and functional teams to implement, support, and sustain member communications initiatives
- Coordinate across stakeholders to align communications with enterprise operational priorities
- Present analysis, recommendations, and materials in a clear and professional manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, communications operations, project management, or process improvement
- Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, Tableau, PowerBI, and Facets
- Strong data analysis and data mining skills with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and operational inefficiencies while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to translate complex data and process findings into clear, concise written summaries and insights
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional business partners
- Organizational and project coordination skills to manage multiple initiatives, documentation, and repositories simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Experience in healthcare, managed care, or regulated environments
