Palo Alto, CA | Audi | Luxury performance brand | Parts Counterperson | Audi experience preferred | Reynolds & Reynolds | Veterans encouraged to apply | $21 - $28/hr
Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.
At Audi Palo Alto, we serve one of the most sophisticated luxury markets in the country. The parts department is the operational backbone of the service floor -- and the counterperson is the one who keeps it moving. Accuracy, speed, and product knowledge matter here, and we compensate accordingly.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Assist service technicians, service advisors, and retail guests at the counter -- providing accurate parts identification, pricing, and availability with speed and confidence
• Look up and source Audi parts using manufacturer electronic parts catalogs -- accurately matching OEM components to vehicle specifications
• Process parts sales, returns, core charges, and special orders -- maintaining accurate transaction records in Reynolds & Reynolds
• Coordinate with the warehouse and back counter to pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians without disrupting repair workflow
• Communicate parts availability, lead times, and back-order status clearly to service advisors and guests
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with technicians, service advisors, and wholesale accounts through consistent, knowledgeable service
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, proper receiving procedures, and organized bin maintenance
• Represent Audi Palo Alto with the product knowledge and professionalism the brand and its clientele expect
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Dealership parts counter experience required -- Audi or European brand experience strongly preferred
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience strongly preferred -- familiarity with R&R parts modules is a genuine advantage
• Strong command of electronic parts catalog systems -- accurate parts lookup under pressure is the daily standard here
• Detail-oriented and accurate -- a wrong part costs the technician time and the guest trust
• Clear, efficient communicator -- able to serve multiple technicians, advisors, and retail guests simultaneously without losing accuracy or composure
• Organized and composed under pressure -- the Palo Alto service floor moves fast and the counter needs to move with it
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A team-first mindset -- when the parts counter runs well, the whole service department runs well
The strongest candidates for this role bring Audi or European brand knowledge, Reynolds experience, and the kind of professional standard that matches the market we serve.
WHAT WE OFFER
• $21.00 - $28.00 per hour -- rate based on experience and Audi or European brand expertise
• Paid Audi manufacturer parts training and product knowledge development
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• Clear career path -- strong parts counter professionals grow into parts management and broader fixed ops roles at Swickard
• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
• A high-performing team environment at one of the most respected luxury dealerships in Silicon Valley
WHY AUDI PALO ALTO
