Läderach is a Swiss chocolate manufacturer seeking an HR Business Partner for the West Coast to provide strategic and operational HR support across California, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. The HRBP will manage HR objectives aligned with business strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Regional and Store Managers on workforce planning and HR strategy
- Manage employee relations and compliance across jurisdictions
- Serve as SME on California labor laws
- Support onboarding, performance management, and training initiatives
- Develop HR reporting and track key metrics
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring effectiveness
- Coach leaders and drive engagement
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of HR Business Partner experience
- Experience in retail or hospitality in a multi-unit environment
- Strong knowledge of California and Canadian labor laws
- Experience managing employee relations and investigations
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with HR metrics experience
- Ability to work remotely and travel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM) preferred
