The National Eczema Association (NEA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving those affected by eczema. The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the optimization of NEA's digital channels, manage website content, and execute effective digital marketing strategies to enhance audience engagement and improve user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as NEA's primary digital marketing lead, responsible for website content management, email marketing, audience engagement, and digital experience optimization
- Own the day-to-day management, content governance, and optimization of the NEA website, including content publishing, landing pages, forms, and user experience improvements
- Manage website content updates and collaborate with program teams to ensure content remains accurate, timely, accessible, and aligned with organizational priorities
- Identify opportunities to improve website navigation, content discoverability, user engagement, conversion rates, and overall digital experience
- Lead the execution and optimization of email marketing strategies, improving engagement, personalization, and lifecycle performance across key audience segments
- Build, deploy, and optimize email campaigns, automated journeys, nurture programs, and lifecycle communications that support audience engagement and organizational goals
- Manage audience segmentation strategies and leverage constituent data to deliver targeted and personalized communications
- Serve as the primary business owner of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE), including email creation, list management, dynamic content, automation rules, engagement programs, forms, landing pages, and reporting
- Utilize Salesforce CRM and MCAE to support campaign execution, audience management, reporting, marketing automation, and stakeholder insights
- Create and maintain digital projects, timelines, assets, and workflows within Atlassian (Jira and related tools)
- Participate in regular planning meetings with program leads and Marketing & Communications leadership to understand project goals, audiences, timelines, tactics, and success metrics
- Translate digital performance data into clear insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement in engagement, conversion, and campaign effectiveness
- Analyze audience behavior, engagement metrics, traffic patterns, and conversion performance to inform optimization strategies and future campaigns
- Conduct testing and optimization of email content, subject lines, audience targeting, user journeys, and website experiences
- Partner with teams across the organization, including Research, Advocacy, Community Engagement, Seal of Acceptance, Philanthropy, Corporate Engagement, Healthcare Professional Engagement, and Events
- Collaborate with the organization's web developer to prioritize website enhancements, troubleshoot issues, manage testing, and implement technical improvements
- Ensure website and email marketing efforts adhere to accessibility standards, privacy requirements, and digital marketing best practices
- Consult with the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications as strategic direction and prioritization decisions are required
- Stay informed about digital marketing trends, marketing technology platforms, audience engagement strategies, SEO best practices, and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail

- Experience managing digital workflows and collaborating across departments

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Five to seven years of strong, substantive experience in digital marketing, website management, email marketing, marketing automation, or a related field
- Experience managing website content through a content management system (CMS), preferably WordPress
- Hands-on experience managing Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), including email creation, audience segmentation, automation rules, engagement programs, forms, form handlers, landing pages, dynamic content, and reporting
- Experience developing, executing, and optimizing automated email journeys and nurture campaigns for multiple audience segments
- Experience working within Salesforce CRM to support marketing campaigns, audience management, reporting, campaign attribution, and stakeholder insights
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, marketing automation, audience segmentation, and lifecycle marketing
- Experience developing reports and dashboards and translating performance data into actionable recommendations
- Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, patient advocacy, or mission-driven organization
- Familiarity with project management tools, including Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and website performance optimization
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, digital compliance requirements, and user experience best practices
- Knowledge of eczema and/or a passion for empowering patients and caregivers
