SunSource, through its subsidiary Western Integrated Technologies, is an industry-leading fluid power distributor and manufacturer. They are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Account Manager to grow their presence in the Boise, ID market by developing strong relationships and delivering tailored fluid power solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow long-term relationships with engineers, purchasing leaders, maintenance teams, and operations decision makers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory
- Conduct regular customer visits, prospecting activities, and technical sales discussions
- Provide consultative solutions that leverage WIT’s hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineered system capabilities
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership to deliver the right solutions
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and manage customer relationships through our CRM platform
- Partner with manufacturer representatives and leadership on key sales calls and strategic opportunities
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales and margin growth
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong background in solution-based or consultative selling
- Experience developing sales proposals, presentations, and account plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a customer-facing sales environment
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team success
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, OR equivalent industry experience
- Fluid Power certification is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical controls, or PLCs is a plus
