Texas Pride Trailers is one of America's largest factory-direct trailer manufacturers, and they are seeking a Vice President of Performance Marketing to drive profitable growth through lead generation and customer acquisition. This hands-on leadership role requires a performance marketer focused on measurable results, overseeing various marketing strategies and metrics to improve revenue performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth-focused marketing strategy centered on lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth
- Own marketing performance metrics, including lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and marketing ROI
- Manage and optimize media channels including paid search, paid social, OTT/CTV, affiliate, email, referral programs, events, direct mail, field marketing, and other customer acquisition initiatives
- Identify, test, and scale new marketing channels and growth opportunities
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to improve lead quality, funnel conversion, and overall revenue performance
- Oversee CRM, marketing automation, attribution, reporting, and campaign tracking systems
- Build dashboards and reporting processes that provide visibility into marketing effectiveness and business impact
- Develop and test offer strategies, financing/payment messaging, promotional frameworks, urgency drivers, and value-based positioning to improve conversion without unnecessarily discounting margin
- Establish and manage a shared lead quality framework with Sales, including MQL/SQL definitions, disqualification reasons, intent scoring, source quality, speed-to-contact, appointment/quote rate, close rate, and revenue per lead
- Build closed-loop attribution from first touch through closed sale, including source tracking, campaign tracking, CRM hygiene, offline conversion imports, call tracking, form tracking, and revenue/margin reporting by channel
- Build lifecycle marketing programs across email, SMS, and CRM to nurture new leads, re-engage abandoned quotes, reactivate aged leads, follow up with unsold prospects, support repeat purchases, and drive referrals
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and lead-generation partners while building internal marketing capabilities over time
- Develop compelling customer-facing messaging, content, and sales support materials that improve conversion performance
- Lead SEO and inbound growth strategies across technical SEO, content optimization, website performance, and conversion path optimization
- Develop and execute brand marketing initiatives that increase awareness and strengthen market positioning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in performance-driven, lead-generation environments
- Proven track record of generating profitable growth through direct-response marketing programs
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, paid media, customer acquisition, lead generation, and conversion optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage budgets based on ROI
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Experience in manufacturing, direct-to-consumer, home services, automotive, equipment, or related industries
