The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing all electrical and mechanical problems in the assigned area and across the plant as needed. This role requires flexibility to work in other areas based on business necessity and involves troubleshooting complex systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Pay: Starting at $23.50/hr.
Automatic pay increases at 90 days and 6 months!
Sign-on bonus of $1,500 paid out in two installments at 30 days and 90 days
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am - 3:30pm Friday, 6am - 10am (Overtime on Fridays as needed)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems plant-wide.
- Repair and maintain sawdust collection, compressed air, steam boiler, and electrical distribution systems.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems for maintenance tracking.
- Perform scheduled job orders, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Maintain a valid powered industrial vehicle (PIV) license if applicable.
- Support and participate in process improvement workshops.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
- Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

- Perform repetitive tasks for up to 12 hours per day.
- Stand continuously and walk frequently during shifts.
- Stoop, kneel, squat, and reach forward or sideways as needed.
- Perform occasional elevated work when handling products.
- Display average coordination with both hands continuously.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Training experience preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
- Training timeline for this position is up to 12 weeks or more.
