Industry Manager, Retail, Fashion, Large Customer Sales (Fixed-Term Contract) (English, Italian)

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  
• Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• 6 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
• 4 years of experience working in the consumer packed goods industry or product area.
• 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
• Experience in media sales or brand management.
• Experience in a leadership role.

As an Industry Manager, you will leverage your understanding of the retail fashion industry and Google's advertising solutions to help clients achieve their business objectives and drive meaningful growth in the dynamic digital landscape.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic and high impact partner, developing partnerships with stakeholders from C- suite to the product, sales, marketing teams and their media and creative agencies. Act like a facilitator thriving across retail customers and cross-functional workgroups including complex hierarchical and international organizations.
• Sell Google Ads solutions to serve customer needs. Take responsibility for the bookings, upselling and management of our clients, and report on sales figures internally and take ownership.
• Identify opportunities to influence and transform clients business strategy regarding performance, omnichannel, measurement and branding.
• Serve as a liaison with clients regarding new product launches and advertising opportunities. Provide campaign updates and ensure that our advertisers are satisfied with their return on investment (ROI).
