Data Analytics & AI Solutions Engineer

Veranova is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of complex active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for pharma and biotech customers. The Data Analytics & AI Solutions Engineer will advance global data and analytics capabilities, focusing on actionable insights, automated KPI reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data models
• Translate business requirements into well‑structured analytical solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial areas
• Ensure consistency and global alignment on metrics, definitions, and UI/UX standards
• Optimize Power BI performance, including DAX calculations, data modeling, and incremental refresh
• Partner with business process owners to enable self-service analytics
• Extract, model, and transform data from multiple global systems
• Support data pipeline development for analytics and reporting
• Ensure data quality and reliability across reporting ecosystems
• Build shared datasets, semantic models, and standardized structures
• Help identify and scope early AI use cases
• Configure and support AI toolsets such as copilots and embedded SaaS AI
• Ensure safe and compliant AI usage in partnership with IT Security
• Provide training and documentation for AI-enabled tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 3–7 years' experience in data analytics or BI
• Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and modeling skills
• Experience with enterprise data sources
• SQL and cloud analytics experience (Azure preferred)
• Understanding of data governance and KPI standardization
• Strong stakeholder communication
• CDMO or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Exposure to AI concepts or tools preferred
• Python or similar scripting experience preferred
• Familiarity with APIs and ETL frameworks preferred
