Prinova is a leading global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions, trusted by well-known food, beverage, and nutrition brands. The Commercial Product Manager is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth of a product portfolio, leading product strategy execution, and managing pricing and portfolio management while working cross-functionally within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product line strategies and tactics, building on global/regional product strategies and local category strategies
- Lead development and execution of product line strategy vision, ensuring prioritization and proper communication across the organization
- Conduct analysis on the current business to identify how best to implement the best business model for growth
- Compile competitor intelligence and incorporate learnings into ongoing platform management
- Ensure that all dealings are with vendors providing high-quality products and services, while following the highest code of ethics and conduct
- Drive profitability for the business through pricing strategy and margin management; clear ownership of break-even points, target margins, and price banding
- Set product line pricing strategy, including floor pricing and target pricing for individual SKUs
- Create a business plan to identify targets (growth rate, revenue, CM, GP criteria)
- Work and travel with the sales team as the product and market expert on portfolio
- Optimize the product portfolio to the SKU level, making choices about new SKU commercialization, SKU rationalization
- Participate in the cross-functional team to identify and realize optimization potential across the value chain
- Manage commodity dairy spend across distribution and value-add manufacturing – working across teams to run positions
- Ensure product inventory is maintained at appropriate levels for assigned products
- Monitor costs and develop inventory levels
- Maintain a minimum designated turns on all items in the portfolio
- Eliminate excess and overstock inventories

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field, with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum 2-3 years of dairy trading or ingredient brokering, highly preferred, or 5-6 years of product management experience in the food ingredient space
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to make choices and prioritize projects in relation to the business opportunity they represent
- Strong action orientation, self-starter, and able to work independently as needed
- Analytical and detail-oriented, and comfortable discussing technical details
