ORR Protection is one of the fastest growing and most progressive family-owned fire protection companies in the country. They are seeking a Regional Service Sales Account Manager responsible for increasing sales for electronic and mechanical life safety systems, including fire alarms and suppression systems, while engaging with potential clients and providing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales activities across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina
- Engage with vertical markets such as Data Centers, Energy/Power Generation, Industrial, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Cable/Broadband, and other Mission-Critical facilities
- Enjoy flexibility to work from home when not traveling
- Expect up to 35-40% travel, including some overnight trips, to build territory and fulfill job duties
- Responsible for booking $300K in testing & inspection service contracts annually
- Demonstrate a commitment to our mission of safeguarding people, property, and the environment in all job functions
- Responsible for growing the business by providing solutions to existing as well as new customers
- Identify potential clients within sectors that align with ORR Protection’s profile, specifically focusing on mission-critical customers
- Initiate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and engagement, highlighting ORR’s specialized services
- Engage with key decision-makers to understand their needs and market opportunities
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to review and refine proposals and contracts
- Manage negotiations and successfully close sales deals of varying complexity, duration, and value
- Attend and participate in tradeshows, conferences, and networking events within the mission-critical space
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in fire protection or related industries
- NICET Fire Alarm Certification
- SPIN-Selling or Challenger sales training
- Microsoft Office
- Experience using a CRM to track leads and progress
