dormakaba Americas is a leading global provider in the access solutions market, and they are seeking a Business Development Manager focusing on Multi-Tenant Data Centers. The role involves driving new business growth within the colocation data center market by building strategic relationships and developing pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the colocation data center segment
- Proactively prospect and penetrate new accounts, including data center operators, executives, developers, and key influencers
- Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within the region through Salesforce, measuring individual and team sales activities and progress
- Build relationships with key data centers and collaborate with sales teams (virtually and on-site) to meet sales goals
- Monitor data center industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Provide insights to leadership to inform product strategy and market positioning
- Work with key channel partners, integrators and distributors to expand market reach, support partner enablement and joint go-to market efforts
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience
- Proven track record of hunting and developing new business
- Strong understanding of complex, project-based sales cycles, with results-driven and focus on pipeline and revenue growth
- Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management Software (e.g., Salesforce.com)
- Expected travel of up to 50%
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, architecture, or related field
- Sales related experience in physical security or related infrastructure markets
