Sigma Intelligence builds AI automation and custom software systems for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to identify and qualify prospective clients for their services, focusing on outbound outreach and nurturing leads. The role involves collaborating with the founder to refine sales strategies and messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying, qualifying, and starting conversations with prospective clients who may benefit from AI automation, custom software, client portals, payment workflows, dashboards, and operational systems
- Outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone, and social channels
- Qualifying leads and nurturing prospects
- Setting discovery meetings with business owners, founders, and decision-makers
- Understanding client operations and identifying workflow gaps
- Articulating Sigma’s value proposition in business-focused language
- Collaborating directly with the founder to improve sales messaging, follow-up, and pipeline strategy
Requirements:
- Strong B2B sales, inside sales, lead generation, or business development experience
- Experience building and managing a qualified outbound pipeline
- Ability to prospect through LinkedIn, email, phone, and other outbound channels
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in clear business language
- Familiarity with B2B technology, software services, SaaS, automation, CRM, marketing, consulting, or agency services
- Experience selling AI, automation, software, or digital transformation services is a strong advantage
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, outreach platforms, and weekly pipeline reporting
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups
- Comfortable with a contractor role that includes a monthly retainer plus commission on closed deals
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate through online meetings, CRM updates, and async communication
