Role Overview
- Design and build Java/Spring Boot back-end services for complex banking flows
- Create REST API and event-driven integrations between internal and external systems
- Work with Kafka for asynchronous events and data feeds
- Design reliable flows around account lifecycle and payment processes
- Support modernization of legacy systems into a cloud-ready setup
- Make architectural decisions focusing on correctness and resilience
- Lead technical design and implementation, guiding developers through reviews
Requirements
- Strong hands-on back-end engineering experience
- Real experience with architecture, system design, and complex integrations
- Java and Spring Boot as a solid base
- Kafka or similar event streaming experience
- AWS or cloud-native delivery experience
- Good database knowledge
- Practical experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Hands-on mindset for code reviews and troubleshooting
- Ability to lead developers technically
- Fluent English in spoken and written communication
