eTeam is focused on empowering local economies and is expanding into New Verticals. They are seeking a contract Integrated Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for merchant acquisition, focusing on partner marketing, content creation, and SEO to drive awareness and activation.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Shopify partner marketing workstream end-to-end — including email retargeting campaigns, App Store optimization, and co-marketing coordination
- Develop content and messaging for the SMB retail audience — briefing case studies, merchant testimonials, and blog content that communicate the value of delivering on the client's platform to priority retail categories (Pets, Beauty, Home Goods, Sports/Outdoors)
- Build and manage content syndication and trade media placements
- Develop a paid creative testing roadmap in close collaboration with the paid media team and our creative agency
- Manage SEO and content agency tracks — overseeing day-to-day agency relationships, deliverable quality, and timelines
- Coordinate across paid media, CRM, Brand, and external agencies, ensuring campaign components are integrated, sequenced correctly, and not creating conflicting or redundant merchant experiences
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in B2B or SMB marketing, content marketing, or integrated marketing, ideally in a high-growth technology or marketplace company
- A track record of owning content and partner marketing workstreams from brief to execution — you know how to write a good brief, manage creative and agency partners, and hold quality and timelines without a lot of hand-holding
- Experience with the Shopify merchant ecosystem or SMB e-commerce platforms — you understand how Shopify merchants think about new sales channels and what motivates them to try something new
- Strong writing and messaging instincts — you can write copy that speaks to a busy business owner, and you understand the difference between what a brand wants to say and what an audience actually wants to hear
- Comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously — this role runs two agency tracks and a partner marketing program in parallel; you need to stay organized and know how to prioritize when bandwidth gets tight
- Experience with SEO, AEO, and landing page optimization — you know enough to manage an SEO agency effectively, push back on weak recommendations, and spot opportunities they might miss
- A bias for action and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude — this is a fast-moving environment with real deadlines (you'll be stepping into an active launch). You'll need to onboard quickly and add value fast
- Experience with SMB retail, restaurant, or local business audiences is a plus
