Harvest Group is an integrated commerce agency that helps high-growth consumer brands win in today's complex retail landscape. The Senior New Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding and scaling Harvest Group’s New Business Development services across the retail landscape, focusing on building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to expand Harvest Group’s New Business Development services across key retail channels, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Costco, Amazon, and Kroger
- Partner with client service leadership to execute the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification through signed client engagement
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue high-potential emerging brands aligned with Harvest Group’s service offering
- Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, brand leaders, and key decision-makers within emerging CPG companies
- Leverage deep knowledge of retailer dynamics to inform prospecting strategy and shape client conversations
- Represent Harvest Group in the market as a trusted growth partner and commercial leader
- Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, PitchBook) to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, and drive disciplined execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth and client service teams to ensure opportunities are well-qualified, strategically aligned, and positioned for long-term success
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of experience in the CPG industry
- Proven experience in new business development, sales, or a commercial growth role
- Strong understanding of at least one key retailer (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Kroger)
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective external relationships
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot) to manage pipeline and support disciplined sales execution
- Up to 30% travel required
- Experience working within or selling into retailer-driven environments preferred
