Inscope is a company that aims to revolutionize the audit and accounting process by automating the creation of financial statements. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to initiate conversations with top accounting firms and book qualified meetings for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Run outbound sequences (calls, email, LinkedIn) to audit partners, senior managers, and practice leaders at top accounting and audit firms
- Book and qualify meetings for the AE team, and own a monthly qualified-meeting target
- Source new pipeline through outbound, marketing-sourced leads, events, and referrals, and follow up fast
- Research target firms and personalize outreach so it lands with the people who feel the financial statement grind daily
- Keep clean records in our CRM and use our sales stack (HubSpot, Nooks, Clay, Apollo) to work efficiently
- Surface what you hear on calls to marketing and product — you're the earliest signal we have on what resonates
Requirements:
- 1–3 years in a BDR/SDR or similar outbound sales role
- Comfort on the phone — cold calling is a core part of this role
- Sharp, concise writing. Your emails should sound like a person, not written by AI
- Curiosity about the audit and accounting profession, and a willingness to learn how firms actually produce financial statements. You don't need to know accounting, but you can explain what we do with clarity and confidence
- Organized and self-directed — you manage your pipeline without being chased
- Resourceful, resilient, and coachable. You treat a no as data, not a verdict
- You're excited about using AI to do the best work of your career. We're constantly fine tuning our workflows, and you'll help — testing new tools, and turning a manual task into a repeatable system the whole team can use
- Experience selling into finance, accounting, or regulated industries is ideal but not required
