LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY TO BAY AREA/WORK LOCATION. ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID AND REQUIRED ON-SITE AT OAKLAND TWICE A MONTH AND RELEVANT BUSINESS MEETINGS.

- Effective communications and storytelling, strategic thinking (marketing strategist), and data analytics and insights to drive engagement.
- Experience working in a regulated environment is ideal, strong project management skills, and experience working in communications or marketing.
Job Description
This role will be critical to helping Utility Client create 10 out of 10 experiences for its customers.
The successful candidate will split their time between:
- Developing content strategies.
- Creating customer-facing materials that support the Customer Care teams and Field Outreach.
Key Responsibilities Customer Experience Strategic Initiatives
- Lead internal employee communications.
- Create programs to raise coworker awareness.
- Develop external communication support.
Customer Communications
- Enhance the customer experience related to billing modernization and field outreach.
- Collaborate with Product and Program Managers, Customer Experience, Customer Contact Centers, and external marketing and advertising agencies.
- Implement high-quality customer communications that meet business goals and improve the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- 5 7 years of experience in a creative marketing role within a corporate environment and/or a creative/advertising agency executing multi-channel marketing communications campaigns.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative consumer research to drive communications strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects of moderate to complex scope.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with business leaders, internal clients, and agencies, while tailoring messages appropriately for target audiences.
- Solid judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
