TikTok's Global Integrated Communications (GIMC) team within GBM produces business entertainment that promotes TikTok-first thinking, servicing global business marketing teams and regional business marketing teams through a scalable approach. The team is comprised of world-class marketing, channel, production experts, designers, and events professionals dedicated to showing our agency partners and clients how best to show up on TikTok. We have a passion for, and deep knowledge of TikTok as a platform, and are full of ideas that will help propel the platform into the future.
The Creative Copywriter will be responsible for writing compelling creative concepts and copy for some of TikTok's most influential B2B campaigns and event moments.
The Copywriter will be responsible for ensuring creativity and joy are central to everything we make and put out into the industry ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a Copywriter who thinks in terms of big ideas and platforms — and can execute those ideas across a multitude of platforms including campaign work, marketing collateral, social media, video, and experiential activations.
This position reports to the Supervising Creative Director.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Creative Development, Design, Video Production and Events teams to come up with big ideas and platforms for different initiatives - and be able to execute with clear, sharp, and creative copy writing for a business audience, clearly communicating the benefits of TikTok's ad products and services
- Ideate and concept for a range of executions, with the ability to articulate strategy, set a creative vision, and pitch ideas to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
- A passion for cultural trends both on and off of the TikTok platform, and an understanding of how to shape these insights to meet a business purpose or objective
- Interpret briefs from stakeholders and cross-functional partners to understand project requirements for campaigns and major tentpole events
- Creative flexibility and expertise writing stage scripts, video scripts, experiential copy, website copy, and lots of things in between
- Translate ad products and services into understandable and interesting language that encourages audiences to interact and engage
- Edit and proofread copy as needed, giving direction to third party partners or other internal writers
- Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Attend project meetings and presentations to provide creative input and address any copy-related concerns or challenges
- Conduct post-project evaluations and analyze feedback to continuously improve our messaging
