Cinnamon Entertainment Group LLC (CEG) is looking for a driven, detail-oriented student to manage and grow their Amazon Associates affiliate program. As the Amazon Affiliate Content Marketing Intern, you will operate the WordPress storefront, create engaging content, and drive traffic to generate commissions while gaining real-world experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update shop.cinnamonentertainment.com on WordPress — adding and removing featured products, refreshing images and descriptions, fixing broken links, and ensuring every outbound link carries correct Amazon affiliate tagging
- Optimize site architecture, product categories (organized by business type, such as salons and gyms), and on-page SEO elements including meta tags, headings, and alt text to maximize organic traffic and conversion
- Curate and refresh Amazon product selections and wishlists relevant to brick-and-mortar small business owners, prioritizing trending and high-commission items
- Produce 4–8 pieces of affiliate content per month — product guides, "Top Supplies for [Industry]" roundups, deal digests, and blog articles — with strategically embedded affiliate links
- Distribute and promote published content across Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and email lists to drive consistent traffic back to the storefront
- Conduct basic keyword research to identify search opportunities and inform content topics that attract CEG's target audience of small business owners using CliquePrize®
- Deliver weekly performance reports using the Amazon Associates dashboard and site analytics, tracking traffic, clicks, conversions, and estimated commissions — and translate that data into actionable recommendations
Requirements:
- Current enrollment at a U.S. college or university in a program eligible to award academic credit for internships (marketing, communications, business, digital media, or a related field preferred)
- Demonstrated writing ability — you can produce clear, engaging, well-structured content independently
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, or a strong, documented willingness to learn page editing, link management, and basic SEO implementation quickly
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision — you manage your own time and follow through on commitments
- Genuine interest in e-commerce, affiliate marketing, and small business tools — this work requires intellectual curiosity, not just task completion
- Familiarity with, or concrete willingness to learn, Amazon Associates, Google Analytics, Canva, and social media scheduling tools
- Prior experience running or contributing to an affiliate marketing program, blog, or content-driven website
- Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices and keyword research tools such as Google Search Console or Ubersuggest
- Experience scheduling and analyzing social media content using tools like Buffer, Later, or Hootsuite
- Familiarity with the challenges and needs of brick-and-mortar small businesses
