Galatek Life Sciences is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to define, position, and market their life sciences automation and digitalization platform. The role involves collaborating with various teams to translate complex technical software products into clear messaging for biotech and pharma customers.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the core messaging for platform capabilities across lab automation, data integration, workflow orchestration, and digital R&D
- Translate complex technical capabilities into customer-facing value propositions
- Develop differentiated positioning tailored to scientific, IT, and executive buyer personas
- Lead the GTM strategy for new platform features, integrations, and technical capabilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align on the product roadmap, technical architecture, and customer use cases
- Create comprehensive launch plans, sales enablement materials, technical one-pagers, demo narratives, and competitive positioning matrices
- Support field teams with a clear articulation of product value, technical differentiation, and implementation considerations
- Conduct ongoing research on customer needs, competitor platforms, and life sciences digitalization trends
- Gather and synthesize feedback from Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success to refine positioning and identify product gaps
- Develop a deep understanding of laboratory workflows, enterprise IT requirements, and scientific data challenges
- Utilize market insights to actively influence the product roadmap and broader commercial strategy
- Produce technically credible content, including solution briefs, architecture diagrams, technical blogs, case studies, webinars, and pitch decks
- Develop targeted messaging for key use cases such as LIMS/ELN integration, instrument data capture, workflow automation, analytics enablement, and lab scalability
- Build practical sales tools that equip field teams to explain complex products to both scientific and technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Bioengineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated professional experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, product management, technical marketing, or enterprise technology consulting
- Minimally 3-5 years of proven experience marketing technical B2B SaaS, data platforms, automation software, or enterprise software systems
- Functional familiarity with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data pipelines, or enterprise architecture concepts
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with a portfolio or track record of simplifying complex technical concepts into clear narratives
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across highly technical (Engineering, Product) and commercial (Sales, Customer Success) teams
- Prior experience in life sciences, biotech, pharma, laboratory informatics, or scientific software
- Familiarity with industry-specific systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, LES, MES, CDS, SDMS) or lab automation platforms
- Basic understanding of lab instruments, robotics, scheduling systems, or workflow orchestration
- Knowledge of scientific data models, metadata, FAIR data principles, or regulatory environments (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
