About this role

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a SAP FICO Project Manager for a remote contract position. The role involves leading SAP FICO implementation projects, managing resources and stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
Manage project planning, execution, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Collaborate with business leaders, finance teams, and technical consultants to gather requirements and deliver effective SAP FICO solutions
Oversee SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders
Coordinate cross-functional integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules to ensure seamless business process execution
Monitor project milestones, budgets, quality standards, and issue resolution while providing regular status updates to executive stakeholders
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, audit requirements, and organizational governance policies
Lead project teams, mentor consultants, manage vendor relationships, and drive best practices for SAP project delivery and change management

Requirements:

10+ years of SAP FICO experience
5+ years of project management experience
Experience with multiple full-cycle SAP implementation projects
Excellent leadership skills
Client-facing communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Problem-solving skills
Capability of independently leading enterprise SAP FICO projects from initiation through successful go-live
PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP certification
