Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Data Security :: Bethesda, MD (Remote)

ARK Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Data Security to enhance data security in diverse and regulated environments. The role involves planning, designing, deploying, and managing data security in Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, with a focus on compliance and protecting AI applications from threats.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cloud security systems to protect sensitive data, including AI applications
• Conduct security analysis of Cloud platforms and AI ecosystems
• Deploy and manage the Zenity AI security platform to secure AI applications
• Configure Zenity policies to prevent data exposure through AI systems
• Provide remote technical support for CASB services and Zenity platform
• Monitor AI application behavior to detect anomalies and unauthorized access
• Develop and manage Cloud-specific security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls into AI application pipelines
• Submit reports on time and ensure delivery deadlines are met
• Document project progress accurately
• Provide input and assistance to other teams regarding projects
• Manage and implement work and projects as assigned
• Generate accurate and timely results in reports and presentations
• Analyze information to choose the best solutions and solve problems
• Provide technical expertise and support within and outside the department
• Stay updated on job-relevant issues and apply new knowledge effectively
• Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders
• Develop goals and plans to prioritize and accomplish work
• Collaborate with internal partners to support business strategies
• Provide information to supervisors and co-workers in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related field or equivalent experience/certification
• 7 years of information technology experience, with 3 years in information security
• 2 years' experience in discovering, cataloging, and protecting sensitive data
• 1 year hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Discovery, Cloud Security Access Broker (CASB), and Encryption Keys
• 1 year experience with AI security platforms and tools
• Experience with Public Cloud environments and familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA
• Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively
• Current information security certification such as CISM or CISSP
