Aptly is an enterprise platform focused on delegation of authority and signatory management, aiming to transform how organizations manage authority delegation. The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in generating qualified leads, engaging with senior executives, and contributing to the company's growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified pipeline with enterprise accounts
- Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders, typically in finance, compliance, legal, risk, and operations, who own or influence authority management decisions
- Develop and refine outreach messaging that articulates the business cost of manual authority management and the value of Aptly's platform
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our ideal customer profile, focusing on organizational complexity, regulatory exposure, and governance maturity
- Book and hand off discovery meetings to Account Executives with well-documented context on the prospect's pain points and organizational structure
- Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene including activity logging, pipeline tracking, and account intelligence documentation
- Collaborate with marketing to provide frontline feedback on messaging, content, and campaign effectiveness
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development, demand generation, or a related outbound role
- Experience (or genuine interest) in selling to enterprise buyers in finance, compliance, legal, or operations functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, Apollo, or similar)
- Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to understand how organizations are structured and where governance pain points exist
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
