Sales Development Representative, Catholic

Pushpay provides mobile apps, management software, and giving technology that help organizations and communities stay connected and strengthen belonging. The Sales Development Representative will conduct outbound prospecting, qualify Catholic parishes, dioceses, ministries, and nonprofits, schedule appointments, and build a sales pipeline using tools such as Salesforce and Outreach.

Responsibilities:

• KPI/metric driven role, constant monitoring on performance and role carries a quota
• Make outbound calls, emails and text messages to qualify parishes and dioceses, ministries and non-profits within the Catholic denomination
• Able to make at least 75 cold outbound calls to potential customers each day
• Schedule 1-2 appointments per day between prospects and Account Executives
• Excellent communication skills in order to have meaningful conversations with our prospects to understand the challenges they face engaging their community
• Identify and communicate how Pushpay can help
• Use best-in-class software like Salesforce and Outreach to manage and build your pipeline
• Work with a team of like-minded individuals to achieve targets
• Some familiarity with an ABM “go to market” strategy is helpful
• Required Schedule: 6AM-3PM or 7AM- 4PM Pacific Time
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Requirements:

• • 1+ years of inside sales experience, but none required
• • A high school graduate (or holder of an equivalent degree) with BS/BA preferred
• • Has a working knowledge of the leadership structure within the Catholic church by occupation or through experience
• • Knowledge of day to day parish and diocesan activities
• • Working knowledge of parish faith formation programs and sacramental activities at the Catholic Church
• • Working knowledge of parish / diocesan budgets or financials
• • Sales experience talking/spelling over the phone: courteous, well spoken, curious and good at asking questions
• • Able to connect prospects' business needs to Pushpay's SaaS solutions
• • Strong computer skills, proficient on Mac OSX and Google Platforms (Salesforce and Outreach are a plus)
• • Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• • Experience working with Catholic parishes or Catholic diocese recommended and preferred
• • Positive outlook and resilience with your team and customers is desired
