Sr Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Data Protection

Rubrik's Marketing team is growing, and they're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sr Product Marketing Manager to lead product marketing for their cloud data protection solution area. This role involves shaping strategy in collaboration with leadership and executing cross-functionally to drive measurable outcomes for the cloud data protection business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and define strategy: Partner with leadership to build a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the cloud data protection solution area, aligned to overall business objectives. Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research to identify opportunities and threats
• Product positioning: Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with target buyers, emphasizing Rubrik's cyber resilience capabilities across cloud
• Go-to-market (GTM) execution: Own and execute GTM plans for launches and campaigns in your solution area — including sales enablement, promotional campaigns, and competitive positioning — to drive adoption and market penetration of Rubrik's cloud solutions
• Content and communications: Produce high-impact content and assets — core collateral, thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, presentations, and sales plays — that translate complex technical concepts into clear customer benefits. Use AI tools to accelerate research and content production
• Competitive and analyst positioning: Maintain deep competitive intelligence and support analyst engagements (e.g., Gartner) to strengthen Rubrik's position in the cloud data protection landscape
• Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with sales, sales enablement, product management, customer marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, and demand generation to align on objectives, share insights, and drive cohesive strategies

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree
• 4–7 years in technology, strategy, consulting, or a marketing-related discipline, with at least 2 years in a product marketing or product management capacity
• Experience in B2B go-to-market
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
• A resourceful, action- and detail-oriented approach with a high-ownership mindset and a track record of measurable impact
• MBA is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments is highly desirable
• Experience in cybersecurity — ideally data security, cloud security, or data protection
• Fluency with Claude Cowork to accelerate research, content, and GTM execution
