Master Data Management - Business Analyst

SPECTRAFORCE is a company seeking a Master Data Management - Business Analyst to support a large pharmaceutical client. The role involves acting as a business partner between users and the MDM team, investigating data issues, and supporting customer master data for various business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the business partner for MDM-related activities
• Support customer master data management solutions
• Answer business users' questions related to master data
• Investigate customer data issues and anomalies
• Perform root cause analysis
• Identify resolution plans for data issues
• Escalate ongoing or recurring data quality problems
• Research data within the MDM solution
• Understand how customer data flows across systems
• Understand commercial and medical business processes
• Communicate findings and resolutions to business stakeholders
• Work independently while following established processes
• Collaborate with data stewards and MDM teams
• Use SQL to query databases when needed
• Work with Microsoft Office tools for analysis and reporting
• Support data governance and stewardship activities

• Data governance or data stewardship experience is valuable
• Hands-on data analysis experience preferred
• Associate's degree minimum
• Candidates without a degree are generally not preferred
• Experience in Business Analyst or Data Analyst roles
• Experience in MDM, data governance, or data stewardship
• Not an entry-level role
• SQL experience (desired but not mandatory)
• Reporting or analytics experience
• Experience with customer data ecosystems
• Knowledge of data quality management
• Around 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• 3-5 years of pharma experience is ideal
• Business operations experience preferred over project management
• Hands-on experience is highly preferred
