Business Analyst, Data & Insights (Puerto Rico)

Collins Aerospace, part of RTX, is a leading aerospace and defense company focused on solving complex problems with innovative technologies. The Business Analyst role in the Data & Insights team is responsible for developing and deploying data-driven systems to improve business planning and execution, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive actionable insights. This position involves collaboration across teams and adherence to information security standards in a remote role based in Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current business processes and documentation, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and operations, to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical solutions
• Develop and implement governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Collaborate to translate requirements and policies into implementation roadmaps
• Provide support during the implementation of new systems and processes, including user training and change management
• Ensure the rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices to business analysis activities

Requirements:

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on customer interaction, requirements gathering and governance
• Experience working with Power BI
• Keen understanding of business process analysis and improvement methodologies
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with Scrum/Agile software development process
• Experience in Service Now
