Manager, Technology Market Transformation

Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) is a regional nonprofit that accelerates energy efficiency, electrification, and grid-flexibility across Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The Manager, Technology Market Transformation is responsible for managing projects that facilitate technology market transformation for buildings and industry, working with various stakeholders to promote high efficiency technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Managing projects for research, tools, and stakeholder engagement that transform regional markets toward high efficiency building and industrial technologies and practices
• Leading research and tool development, managing projects, overseeing external consultants, and tracking budgets
• Convening stakeholders through advisory groups and working groups

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressively senior experience in project management, energy efficiency, and stakeholder engagement
• Demonstrated project management skills; accountability for project deliverables and financial systems
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, disseminate, and interpret relevant industry data
• Ability to place NEEP within the industry and apply knowledge to strategic decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally and externally
• Ability to develop budgets and track compliance for complex, multi-year grants
• Ability to communicate program area strategy and activities
• Strategic thinking and planning for program area
• Ability to support team members
• Advanced degree preferred but not required
• Subject matter expertise in one or more of these areas preferred but not required: building energy efficiency and decarbonization (single family residential, multi-family residential, commercial building sectors), heating and hot water electrification, industrial energy efficiency and decarbonization, building envelope technologies, contractor workforce development
