Acquisition Customer Service Representative REMOTE

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is a national leader in home healthcare, providing a range of medical equipment and services. They are seeking an Acquisition Customer Service Representative to manage inbound calls, document patient information, and ensure smooth transitions during asset purchases and contract changes.

Responsibilities:

• Inbound Call Management - Receives inbound calls while updating status information in tracking logs and seller portals to ensure accurate and timely documentation
• Customer Communication - Communicates with patients, caregivers, payors, and referral sources verbally and in writing to address questions, resolve concerns, and support smooth transitions
• Documentation & Chart Assembly - Documents patient information, processes required paperwork, assembles charts, including preparing files for the Field Operations Team, and completes messaging through ordering platforms and portals
• Service Area & Demographic Verification - Verifies that transitioning patients fall within the servicing area of company locations and confirms all demographic information needed for accurate processing
• Compliance & Standards - Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures to maintain JCAHO and organizational standards
• Additional Responsibilities - Performs other duties and projects as assigned to support operational needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Background check (company-wide). Results will not be used automatically to disqualify individuals
• Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
• Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable for the position)
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
• Experience in medical field and administrative record management preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service background preferred
• Working knowledge of Rotech policies, processes & systems preferred
• Medical terminology preferred
• Knowledge of medical billing practices preferred
• Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements preferred
