Sales Development Representative (Social Commerce)

Jackson James is hiring for a Sales Development Representative role at a fast-growing social commerce agency supporting emerging consumer brands and established household names. The representative will engage inbound leads and prospects, understand their business objectives, and book qualified meetings for Account Executives while developing expertise in TikTok Shop, creator partnerships, and social commerce.

Responsibilities:

• Work inbound enquiries and an existing lead database through high-volume daily phone activity
• Respond quickly to new leads and connect with the right decision-makers
• Understand each prospect’s business, objectives and potential fit for the agency’s services
• Book qualified meetings for Account Executives
• Follow up with no-shows and reactivate dormant opportunities
• Maintain accurate CRM records, clear notes and next steps
• Work closely with Account Executives to improve appointment quality and conversion
• Develop your understanding of TikTok Shop, creator partnerships and social commerce

Requirements:

• Experience in sales development, outbound appointment setting, cold calling or high-volume phone sales
• Confidence speaking with founders, CMOs and senior commercial decision-makers
• Strong communication, listening and questioning skills
• An understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing
• Resilience and comfort spending much of the day on the phone
• A proactive approach to follow-up and organised CRM management
• Openness to coaching and motivation to earn through results
• Experience selling agency services, digital marketing solutions or e-commerce software would be beneficial
• Previous TikTok Shop experience is beneficial
