Account Manager (Customer Service Representative)

Northstar Recycling is a remote-first recycling company committed to customer service, operational excellence, and an inclusive workplace. The Account Manager will manage business partner relationships, support assigned accounts, resolve issues, complete reporting, perform accounting functions, and verify transactional data and pricing for Finance.

Responsibilities:

• As an Account Manager, you will work with our Operations team, as well with our many internal teams and stakeholders, clients, and outlet partners to provide exceptional customer service and support
• Manage existing relationships and daily transactions with critical business partners
• Service assigned accounts quickly and efficiently while providing high-quality customer experience and support
• Work to professionally resolve/deescalate issues for assigned accounts, bringing any critical issues to the proper points of escalation
• Complete required reporting in a prompt and accurate manner
• Perform a number of accounting functions as well as verify services pricing with internal teams and external partners
• Proactively throughout the month and prior to the monthly close period, request and review transactional data (pricing and weights of shipments/services) to ensure accuracy for our Finance team
• On-call hours are required for this role and are compensated accordingly

Requirements:

• 1 – 2 years of Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
