Sales Account Manager

Gateway Services Inc. is North America's leading provider of pet aftercare services, partnering with veterinary professionals across the United States and Canada. The Veterinary Account Manager will build and strengthen relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinics, grow existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and manage a geographic sales territory. The role also involves conducting customer reviews, maintaining a CRM-based sales pipeline, and achieving retention and revenue objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and strengthen long-term relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinics
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer partnerships while developing new business opportunities
• Become a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's business and recommending solutions that support their success
• Conduct regular business reviews, customer visits and strategic planning discussions
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM technology
• Achieve or exceed customer retention, revenue growth and activity objectives

Requirements:

• 3+ years of successful account management, relationship management or outside B2B sales experience
• Proven ability to grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
• Experience managing a geographic sales territory
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel approximately 75% throughout your assigned territory
• Veterinary, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical or related industry experience is an asset
