Inside Sales Account Executive

VSP Vision is a vision care and healthcare company providing products and services to members, clients, brokers, and business partners. The Inside Sales Account Executive will solicit and develop sales, maintain and grow a broker base within an assigned territory, and meet revenue goals through prospecting, relationship building, sales strategy, and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and develop creative sales strategy to contact prospective brokers and prospective accounts to create sales opportunities
• Create solid business relationships and build rapport with prospective accounts and/or brokers
• Collaborate with corresponding Client Managers and Market Directors within territory
• Coordinate with Operations and other business partners to effectively implement new clients and maintain broker relationships
• Provide plan design options, sales information and rate quotations to prospective accounts and brokers

Requirements:

• Three years sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to achieve the established product/sales learning curve to achieve sales/revenue goals
• Intermediate level computer skills and ability to learn and master internal computer systems
• Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility
• Knowledge of underwriting, products, services and healthcare industry
• Ability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements for any state(s) within assigned sales territory
• For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFM)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFM), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
