Business Insights Analyst - Safety

Beacon Mobility is a growing provider of mobility-based solutions, including Paratransit and School Bus services, serving communities across several U.S. states. The Business Insights Analyst - Safety analyzes data and uses artificial intelligence, dashboards, and structured problem-solving to identify safety and operational challenges, support executive decisions, and recommend improvements. The role also partners with business leaders to improve efficiency, customer experience, business outcomes, and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Identify contributing factors to address operational challenges across the business
• Develop and verify comprehensive and actionable dashboards and reports
• Drive AI and automation initiatives
• Support executive decision-making with clear insights
• Find measurable cost-saving opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered
• Foundational experience analyzing data through coursework, internships, projects, or early-career work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and basic data cleaning
• Basic understanding of business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, and performance metrics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, professionalism, and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team
