Sales Director / Manager Channel - Commercial Outdoor Products - Mid-Central Region

Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC is a national recruitment organization partnering with clients to connect qualified candidates with career opportunities. Its client, a leading manufacturer of commercial outdoor recreation products and solutions, is seeking a Sales Channel Leader to drive revenue through independent sales representative agencies, develop channel strategies, expand market penetration, and improve agency performance.

Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue through independent sales representative agencies
• Develop sales plans, territory strategies, and revenue goals with channel partners
• Build strong relationships with agency owners and sales teams and drive accountability
• Identify new markets, customers, and commercial project opportunities
• Work with reps to get products specified early in the architectural/design and RFP process
• Train and equip agencies with sales tools, marketing resources, product knowledge, and competitive intelligence
• Conduct regular business reviews and analyze pipeline, forecasts, and sales performance
• Develop strategies to improve underperforming territories and increase market penetration
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop programs that generate new business
• Travel throughout the U.S. to meet with rep agencies, customers, architects, developers, and other key partners

Requirements:

• • Min. 7–10+ years of channel/territory sales management experience in commercial construction, building products, architectural products, or a related industry
• • Proven success managing and growing business through independent sales rep agencies
• • Strong understanding of commercial construction, specification selling, architects, contractors, developers, and RFP processes
• • Ability to influence and motivate channel partners without direct reporting authority
• • Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• • CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
• • Ability to travel approximately 50% nationally
• • Bachelor's degree preferred
