Associate Project Manager, Enterprise Project Management - Remote

Harbor Freight Tools is a national tool retailer with more than 1,600 stores across 48 states, offering tools and accessories at competitive prices. The Associate Project Manager will support enterprise project planning and execution for new products from conception through launch, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors while managing timelines, risks, communications, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Project Manager and Project Management Director to: Assist with project and program planning, organization and management
• Assist with project maintenance, revisions and issue resolution
• Assist with development of presentation material for meetings
• Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to proactively manage tasks
• Analyze and resolve project roadblocks and communication within projects
• Manage Vendor communication for packaging and manuals proof collection tasks and revisions
• Optimization of timing between product, packaging and manuals; ownership of end to end timing of internal approvals for manuals and structural packaging
• Build and maintain reports as specified by Project Managers, Project Management Directors
• Assist with projects and system administration for PM team as needed
• Evaluate and escalate project risks / delays to the project manager
• Ensure critical information is accurate and consistent for various teams
• Assume other duties and PM responsibilities as needed or assigned by manager

Requirements:

• • Bachelors' Degree required
• • Detail oriented
• • Experience working in a high-growth environment, with shifting priorities
• • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• • Flexible personality with the ability to deal with ambiguity and to think outside the box and provide a continuous flow of new ideas and process improvements

• • 2+ years of progressive work responsibility
• • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Adobe Creative Suite, Workfront and/or  other PLM system desired
• • Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit

• Proficient using standard Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
