Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale technology initiatives using Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban frameworks.

 

Role Details

• Location: Mechanicsville, VA

 

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

 

• Interview Process: In-Person Only

 

The Crux of the Position

You will drive end-to-end project lifecycles, manage senior stakeholder relationships, oversee budgets and risks, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-value software solutions.

 

Must-Have Requirements

• Active PMP Certification (Required)

 

• Large-Scale Delivery: Experience as PM of record on projects valued at $10M+ (or state/public sector projects valued at $5M+)

 

• Risk Management: 5+ years of documented hands-on risk mitigation experience

 

• Methodologies: Solid expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and SAFe frameworks

 

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retros, Demos).

 

• Maintain product backlogs alongside Product Owners.

 

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery metrics.

 

• Remove team roadblocks and shield developers from distractions.
