Senior Specialist, Sales Engineering

L3Harris Technologies is a defense technology company delivering mission-critical solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains. The Senior Specialist, Sales Engineering will support the SOCOM Sales Team through equipment demonstrations, technical advising, customer requirements analysis, solution recommendations, and pre- and post-sales support. The role also includes customer training, technical support, and at least 50% travel.

Responsibilities:

• Working with account managers to support successful technical demonstrations, trials, and exercises
• Providing input during the evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the account manager as an equipment technical advisor
• Understanding customer requirements and use-cases for product applications and recommending equipment solutions that will meet those requirements
• Understanding the features of L3Harris products and conveying how those features benefit individual and unique customers
• Works with internal and external stake holders in a collaborative way to deliver technical based solutions in support customer requirements
• Providing pre-sales and/or post-sales technical support for L3Harris products to customers, to include operation, limited maintenance, and technical support
• Providing training to customers on L3Harris products
• Ability to travel at least 50%
• Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance

• • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior communication planning, operation or installation experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
• • L3Harris tactical radio experience using HF, VHF, UHF, MANET, & SATCOM (MUOS) waveforms
• • Link-16 portfolio
• • APCO 25 (P25) Networks
• • Internet Protocol (IP) networking experience
• • Systems engineering/integration experience
