Digital Forensics & Investigation Specialist in Sacramento, CA

Key Responsibilities
Conduct workstation and digital-forensics investigations.
Collect and preserve digital evidence.
Analyze endpoints, files, logs, and system artifacts.
Establish investigation timelines and identify relevant activity.
Support incident-response investigations.
Maintain evidence integrity and documentation.
Prepare evidence for legal, HR, privacy, or investigative proceedings.
Develop forensic findings and investigation reports.
Coordinate with incident-response and security personnel.

Qualifications
5+ years of digital-forensics or cybersecurity investigation experience.
Experience with workstation/endpoint forensics and evidence preservation.
Knowledge of forensic analysis and investigative procedures.
Experience supporting security incidents and investigations.
Preferred: GCFA, GCFE, EnCE, CHFI, or CISSP.
