Principal Product Manager, International Partner Acceleration

Toast creates technology that helps restaurants and local businesses operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. The Principal Product Manager will own the product strategy and roadmap for international integration partners, leading research, prioritization, metrics, cross-functional delivery, and partner contract strategy to expand Toast's ecosystem across global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Define, prioritize, and deliver an integration partner roadmap initiatives that improve the value proposition of Toast across both existing markets
• Champion field research & validation: Spend time with customers in all markets to learn which partners support various operational workflows, understand pain points, and iterate on improvements
• Partner closely with Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Dev Rel to prioritise the right integrations and ensure a smooth post-integration onboarding experience for customers
• Develop and track key metrics and KPIs to ensure seamless ongoing performance of partners in all markets
• Align Engineering, Security, Data, Research, Design, Care/Onboarding, and GTM partners to de-risk delivery and adoption of new partners
• Work closely with business development and market teams to build Toast's integration coverage strategy in each market and participate in negotiation of partner contracts balancing commercial and strategic considerations to drive long-term ecosystem value

Requirements:

• ~8+ years shipping complex software products with demonstrated ownership of multi-team programs or a major product portfolio
• Proven track record taking a product from discovery through prototype and pilot to scale
• Exemplary stakeholder management and ability to align external partners and internal stakeholders, especially on high-visibility initiatives
• Communication & influence. Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication; able to synthesize technical tradeoffs and business value for executives and partners
• At least Bachelors degree required
