Project Manager

Microsoft is seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Operations and Reporting professional to support portfolio governance, executive reporting, and project coordination across engineering, operational improvement, and cross-functional initiatives. The role manages Azure DevOps portfolio tracking, KTBR reporting, executive communications, project coordination, and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve visibility and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain portfolio tracking, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items within Azure DevOps
• Manage KTBR (keep the business running) tracking and portfolio reporting processes
• Develop monthly and ad hoc reporting for Director, Sr. Director, and GM-level audiences
• Consolidate project updates into concise, executive-ready status reports and dashboards
• Coordinate activities across engineering, supply chain, business, and program management stakeholders
• Support engineering enhancement, process improvement, and partner-driven initiatives
• Facilitate project reviews, follow-ups, and action item closure
• Identify reporting gaps, execution risks, and process improvement opportunities
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and operational effectiveness
• Establish and maintain project tracking processes, governance practices, and operating rhythms

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of project management, program coordination, business operations, or portfolio management experience
• 1–2 years of experience supporting engineering, supply chain, or business operations portfolios
• 1–2 years of experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
• 1–2 years of experience developing dashboards, KPI reporting, or portfolio scorecards
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for project tracking, portfolio visibility, and reporting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and status communications
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
• Experience developing dashboards, KPI reporting, or portfolio scorecards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated executive presence
• Experience supporting cross-functional and globally distributed teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite of productivity tools
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted reporting, or similar productivity tools
• Ability to work independently and drive execution with minimal oversight
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification preferred
