Outside Sales Account Manager - Fluid Process Filtration & Products

SunSource is an industrial distribution company providing fluid power, fluid process, fluid conveyance, automation, general industrial components, and industrial repair solutions. The Outside Sales Account Manager will develop new business and manage a Michigan sales territory by helping customers identify fluid process solutions, prospecting for customers, maintaining accounts, and meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities:

• Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
• Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, customer site visits and sales presentations
• Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your goals
• Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

Requirements:

• 2 year technical, industrial and/or business degree OR any suitable combination of education, training and experience
• 2+ years increasing sales experience, with at least 1-year of industrial sales, preferably in fluid process, fluid handling or fluid filtration systems
• Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
• Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency is required
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Experience with industrial filtration products and customers is a great plus!
• Previous experience selling industrial pumps, seals and repair services beneficial
• Overnight travel may be required
