Product Line Manager

ABS Global, a Genus company, provides bovine genetics, reproductive services, technologies, and udder care products. The Product Line Manager will support the tactical execution and day-to-day management of the Sexcel and IntelliGen product lines through project coordination, cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, market research, and operational delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating and executing product initiatives that support the Sexcel & IntelliGen product lines, including timelines, cross‑functional updates, and tactical deliverables
• Support the Product Line Manager by gathering business requirements, tracking innovation needs, and maintaining updated documentation
• Monitor competitor activity, customer needs, and market trends; summarize insights and develop dashboards to support product strategy
• Create and maintain communication materials, selling tools, and product resources
• Support product life‑cycle analysis, including data collection, reporting, and financial insights
• Build strong collaborative relationships across R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other internal partners
• Contribute to broader PLM activities as needed based on business priorities and workload

Requirements:

• This position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in the U.S. Midwest region
• Candidates located near Genus PLC offices in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK may also be considered
• Periodic travel to DeForest, WI will be required
• Travel up to 25%, including visits to DeForest, Wisconsin
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science, Biology, Marketing, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience required
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills with experience working cross‑functionally
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
• 5–7 years preferred
• Global industry experience is beneficial
• Experience in agriculture, genetics, or biotechnology is beneficial but not required
