BUSINESS APPLICATION ANALYST / ENGINEER

Moore & Van Allen PLLC is a full-service law firm seeking an experienced Business Application Analyst/Engineer. The role maintains and develops business intake forms, workflows, and financial systems while supporting integrations across Finance, Risk & Compliance, IT, and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Finance, Risk & Compliance, IT, and Practice Groups to translate business needs into system solutions
• Maintain, configure, and optimize business workflows, forms, and approvals
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and technologies to support evolving business needs
• Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between various enterprise applications (Aderant, HR, CRM, analytics platforms)
• Design, test, and deploy forms and workflow logic to automate approvals and operational processes
• Ensure data quality, security, and process compliance
• Maintain system documentation, reports, and usage metrics

Requirements:

• • SQL database experience including stored procedures, functions, etc
• • Experience with form design, workflow configuration, integrations, and API Integrations
• • Understanding of matter lifecycle, billing, conflicts, and client intake processes
• • The work is primarily sedentary
• • It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
• • The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
• • The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights
• This position is remote work eligible only in the following states: NC, SC, FL, VA, TN, OR, OH, TX, GA, MA, and CO
• • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field preferred
• • Experience in a professional services environment, preferred
• • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and reporting tools such as Power BI preferred
